Trees
Sunlight
We stand under a tree, 100,000,000 miles away from a nuclear furnace that punches photons through leaves with ease. Even at this distance, we can clearly perceive its fiery being in the coruscations of light shimmering and swirling in the branches of our tree. We owe our existence to something that could snuff us out with a microsecond's lash of its random, malevolent, inanimate heart.
