Concrete Reality

This is a real place on the south coast of England. A jumble of massive, surreal concrete shapes protects the land from erosion by the sea.

An art installation by chance, but there is no artist's ego to massage and the work itself remains unrecognised - except by the sky which is quietly amused.

Exposed to the sea's fury every winter and no art guards to protect it!
