Gaia
There is something magical about horses. Their liquid eyes and hot breath upon one's hand. They possess a strength and speed that awes us - surely such a creature cannot be wholly of this world? Yet, they tolerate us if we are kind to them.
This is Gaia, a young horse, born at Findon Farm near Gamrie, Aberdeenshire. She is by me because she wants to be and for a time we enjoy each other's company in this strange place full of possibilities.
