The Art Guards
A sequence of four images depicting an incident in the Guggenheim, New York.
Photography of the art itself was not permitted, but was allowed on the ground floor of the building. In fact, this was just about right since the exhibition at this time was vacuous and trivial, but the building and the people were quite fascinating.
A large grid of (almost indestructible) glass blocks has been assembled near to the entrance, just where one might be tempted to put down one's coat or bag for a a moment...
